Ramses Morel Nunez, Physical Therapy Aide
What is the essence of what you do?
The essence of being a physical therapy aide is to assist the patient throughout their treatment by preparing the treatment area and equipment needed for their treatment, and also safeguarding the patient while they perform their exercises.
What are some of your personal interests, outside of work?
Some of my personal interest include outdoor activities such as hikes and jogging. I usually go to Hudson Valley on a monthly basis to enjoy a peaceful hike on overlook mountain, but when I’m not in upstate I try to make the best of my time in New York City by jogging to many of the major attractions nearby.
What are things you believe in?
I have two words that I live my life by, Dream big. Dreaming big means that you set yourself to a high standard. I believe people should always push themselves to get out of their comfort zone, because that will make them into a person who others would have never thought you would become. Dreaming big is one way to accomplish that.
