What is the essence of what you do?
The Front Desk welcomes clients and redirect them appropriately. I make sure patients are on the schedule, correspond to phone calls, faxes and emails. I make sure everyone is well taken cared of.
What are some of your personal interest outside of work?
I love cooking, baking, decorating and organizing my space. Outside of my house I like doing Zumba to burn some calories and some yoga for a good stretching. I also like travelling and meeting new people.
What are some of the things you believe in? It can be a favorite quote or words of wisdom, etc.— something that identifies you.
“A goal without a plan is just a wish.” I believe it is important to have goals in life but most importantly is to set up a plan and follow steps in order to reach those goals. I like to have my thoughts and ideas together. Apply them correctly in my life. Always learn from others and take what’s best.
What do you like most about working for this organization?
I like how everyone is collaborating and working on the same page. I like the communication skills used to communicate in and outside of work. Professionalism is very important. Each staff member is respecting and following the policy.
What do you like most about caring for patients?
I like helping people and see them smiling.
Why did you choose to become a receptionist?
I chose to work as a receptionist because it is an opportunity for me to meet new people, help them and answer their questions whether at the office or on the phone.
What do you think your patients like about you?
I think the patients will like how caring I am and competent to get the job done.
