Kayla Arias, Administrative Assistant
What is the essence of what you do?
As an administrative assistant, my job is to welcome all patients and ensure they have a great experience coming into physical therapy. I mostly work with new patients such as, taking activations in person or on the phone, setting up their appointments, and assisting them on their first day to fill out the paperwork needed to be seen right away.
What are some of your personal interest outside of work?
I love spending time with my family on the weekends. We make a different dish every Saturday and watch movies.
What are some of the things you believe in? It can be a favorite quote or words of wisdom, etc.— something that identifies you.
No matter what has happened to you in the past or now, it has no power to keep you from having an amazing future if you walk by faith in God. -Joyce Meyer
What do you like most about working for this organization?
I have amazing coworkers who have not only become friends, but they became family. We all have an amazing positive attitude which creates positive energy to our patients.
What do you like most about caring for patients?
I love how our patients come in with great attitude because it doesn’t show that they are obligated to come in for physical therapy but, they love being here with us.
Why did you choose to become an administrative assistant?
I chose to become an administrative assistant because I want to make a difference in people’s lives and help them get back on their feet. I want patients to be able to get the care needed without worrying about their financial status.
