Julio Ngitit, Physical Therapist
What is the essence of what you do?
As a physical therapist, it is my duty to provide the highest quality of care to my patients. Using the knowledge that I possess, I am able to provide goal-specific varieties of exercise/treatment that will help them get better and achieve their highest normal function.
What are some of your personal interest outside of work?
I like spending time with my family having a barbecue on a weekend and going to the mall. I also enjoy watching some basketball, boxing, and MMA. Sometimes I also play some video games with my brother. To sum it up, my personal interests outside of work are activities wherein I bond and spend time with the people close to me.
What are some of the things you believe in? It can be a favorite quote or words of wisdom, etc.— something that identifies you.
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” – Philippians 4:13 – Growing up, my family raised me and my siblings to be religious and it really helped me in facing the struggles in life. I know that I can achieve and conquer anything because He got my back!
What do you like most about working for this organization?
Upon first stepping in at Restore Plus Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, I immediately felt the vibrant energy. The whole company is so nice and welcoming. The patients are very kind and seeing their smiles at the end of every treatment is the best thing ever. This is the kind of environment that I want to work in.
What do you like most about caring for patients?
I love the energy of the patients, their strive to be well again. This energy gives me the drive to do my best for them. For patients that are down and gloomy due to their condition, I would like to be the reason that will make them smile again. I love giving care to others and see them progress along the way.
Why did you choose to become a physical therapist?
At first, it was my parent’s decision to have me pursue this path, but along the way, I started to like it. My empathy towards the patients gave me the drive to bring them back to their highest level of function as possible.
What do you think your patients like about you?
I think that the patients like interacting with me while doing treatments with them. As healthcare providers, we are their outlets when they have problems or if they just want to share stories about their family and life. We should lend an ear every time they talk and share things as this can help them during the rehabilitation process.
What do you think the patients like the most about the organization?
They definitely like Regie, and the whole company. This organization is like their second family. They come in, have their treatment, have interactions with us and the others, have progressions, and they come home happy. This organization is not just your average clinic. Patients see this as their home and an extended family.
