Erin Fitzgerald, Physical Therapy Aide
What is the essence of what you do?
As a Physical Therapist Aide, my job is to make sure patients are being well taken care of by helping them with exercises relating to their specific injury. I am there to make sure that they try their hardest to reach their goals. I also make sure that the clinic is clean and organized.
What are some of your personal interest outside of work?
I love to play Volleyball. I used to be an outside hitter on a Varsity Volleyball team in high school and now I love to play for fun. I also enjoy cooking and baking and trying out new recipes. I think I can say I am a good cook and baker.
What are some of the things you believe in? It can be a favorite quote or words of wisdom, etc.— something that identifies you.

Success is a personal standard, reaching for the highest that is in us, becoming all that we can be.” -Zig Ziglar. Everyone’s success is different. When you feel successful that’s all that matters.
What do you like most about working for this organization?
The thing that I like most about this organization are the patients and my co-workers. Each patient has their own goals that they want to meet. They are goal getters. My co-workers are amazing and I love working with them every day. I love going into work and having a work family.
What do you like most about caring for patients?
What I like most about caring for our patients is seeing them happy. I love to see when they get discharged from the facility so joyful because they met their goals. It always feels good knowing that I helped a patient get better, and it feels even better when they have their bright smiles.
Why did you choose to become a physical therapy aide?
This position was a stepping stone for me. I want to become a Physical Therapist and this was a great opportunity to start. There is so much to learn and I am so grateful that I am able to start my career at Restore Plus Physical Therapy. Also, to make patients feel better from a specific injury.
What do you think your patients like about you?
I think my patients like that I try to get to know them personally and I work towards their goal with them. I always want to see patients happy when they are working towards their goal.
What do you think the patients like the most about the organization?
Every patient is always happy when they come into the facility and leave with a brighter smile. Every session gets them one step closer to bettering themselves and to feel great again. They can rely on the team to make sure that they reach their goals.
