Why did you choose to become a physical therapist?
Since at a young age I have been exposed to healthcare as my mother was working as an ECG/EKG technician in a hospital and coincidentally her office was situated close to the PT-OT rehab and it amazed me how these therapists were working and helping patients re-learn how to walk and move again. I thought they were superheroes.

That I listen and is attentive to their needs, i make them feel comfortable and at ease despite their ‘discomfort’ and also that I don’t give them false hopes about the outcomes of their condition.

That we are all professionals. Patients are always looking forward to seeing and working with us because they also feel they are part of this ‘team’.
