Brayton Stavis, Physical Therapy Aide
What is the essence of what you do?
As a physical therapy aide, my job is to assist patients with their exercises. I am there to encourage and uplift as well as ensure that they are safe in doing their prescribed exercises. I also make sure that the clinic is running smoothly by maintaining the treatment rooms and keeping the clinic organized.
What are some of your personal interest outside of work?
One personal interest that I have is going on road trips with my fiance. I enjoy working on my car, it is a 1972 MGB. I love taking my two dogs on walks all over the city to explore. I am a big fan of movies.

What do you like most about working for this organization?
The thing that I love most about this organization is how close everyone is, from the staff to the patients. It is so amazing to work in a place that welcomes everyone and makes them feel so close and like family.
What do you like most about caring for patients?
The thing that I love most about caring for patients is getting to know them and helping them achieve their goals if that is getting them to feel comfortable walking upstairs or getting them to be playing at top performance for their activity or sport.
Why did you choose to become a physical therapy aide?
The reason why physical therapy drew me in was the opportunity to help change people’s lives for the better. I want to help them feel confident in their lives by giving them the knowledge on how to live their lives the best they can.
What do you think your patients like about you?
I think I try my best to get to know each of our patients and take interest in their personal life so they can feel comfortable working with me.
What do you think the patients like the most about the organization?
I think that patients love the physical therapist of this organization, these physical therapists are so nice and so caring. They love each of their patients and care about them and they’re well being, wanting to make sure that their patients are taken care of and feeling 100%
